Outside Sales Engineer

As an Outside Sales Engineer you will play a critical role in driving business growth by providing technical expertise and building lasting customer relationships across a defined territory. • Quote provide technical support and manage projects involving vacuum pumps blowers heat exchangers steam turbines and condensers.
• Coordinate marketing efforts with manufacturers to align strategies and maximize market penetration.
• Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships within target markets.
• Travel within the assigned territory a minimum of three days per week to meet with clients and prospects.
• Take ownership of customer needs by providing problem-solving solution-oriented support.

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical background with demonstrated sales experience or a strong aptitude for sales.
• Experience in selling industrial equipment; a background in pulp and paper is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with the systems and products being sold including vacuum pumps blowers heat exchangers steam turbines and/or condensers.
• Understanding of both representation and distribution models is a plus.
• Knowledge of and familiarity with relevant customer bases within the target markets.
• Industry trade experience is welcomed.
• Strong communication skills with a high level of integrity and work ethic.
• Motivated ethical intelligent and flexible with a solution-creating mindset.
• Must reside within or be willing to relocate to the sales territory.
