This role conducts intakes crisis intervention safety planning case management and community outreach while ensuring services are trauma-informed strengths-based and compliant with legal and grant :Critically assess client situations and respond appropriately on a case-by-case basisConduct walk-in intakes including safety planning crisis intervention transportation coordination and internal/external referralsProvide case management services for general intake participantsServe as a resource on housing opportunities within the stateCollaborate with other Outreach Advocates to meet THRIVE program requirementsPartner with victim advocates to coordinate shared case management goalsWork cooperatively with community agencies serving victims of domestic and sexual violenceCreate update and disseminate program resource materialsProvide outreach at community events by distributing program information and offering immediate assistanceConduct community presentations and tabling eventsMaintain participant files in accordance with legal and grant requirements including timely documentation of intakes progress notes and closuresSupport internal departments as neededDrive a personal or agency vehicle to conduct program businessRespond to OSR requestsAttend all required meetings and trainingsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Education:High School Diploma or GED degree in Social Work Sociology Psychology Womens Studies Justice Studies Counseling Family Studies Criminal Justice Pre-Law or a related field preferred.
