TekCom has an exciting new opportunity for a traveling OSP Pole Replacement Coordinator!
Do you have project and crew supervisory/oversight experience in Outside Plant construction and or OSP Pole Placement Are you seeking a long-term home to build your project/construction management career TekCom Resources is seeking a traveling OSP Construction Supervisor for a large Pole Replacement project. This job will take you from Dallas TX thru LA North MS TN AL and eventually to Atlanta GA! Company will provide company vehicle hotel accomocations and per diem.This is for a direct hire role with a fast-growing telecom construction firm headquartered in St. Louis MO
In this role you will be responsible for oversight a pole replacement project - this will include removal and replacement of the telco or power pole along with transfer of existing attachments and utilities to the new pole; this will include crew oversight QC on work performed pre-project prep work and some post-project wrap-up work.Visiting field sites to observe work being performed is an essential element of this role.
Experience with OSP Aerial Construction is highly desired for this role - specifically with OSP Pole transfers!Work will be supporting a major nationally active broadband service provider.

Principaldutiesand Responsibilities:
- Field verifying location and nature of work being performed by putting eyes on the project.
- Confirmqualityofworkbeingdoneandquantitydoneattheend ofeach day.
- Responsibleformaintainingacceptableperformancestandardsandmetricsofcrewworkingon project.
- Maintaincontractschedule.
- Responsibleforalladministrativefunctionsnecessarytodocumentworkincludingbutnot limited to ordering and tracking of supplies billing hours safety documents etc.
- Ensuresafetypracticesandproceduresarebeingfollowedatalltimes.
- Perform other related work as assigned using available resources to achieve established goals.
PositionRequirements:
- High School Diploma
- Organizedandmotivatedtoprovideprojectsupportasdirected
- Conscientiousprofessionalwhohasapleasantphonemannerandexcellentorganizational skills
- 1-3yearspreviousConstructionexperienceinthefield
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Familiar with pole work redlines HFC Power Supply installation permitting and Fiber networks
- Ability to complete assignments with no supervision and self-direct daily activities organized and motivated to provide project support as directed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products specifically Word Excel and Outlook and ability to handle multiple tasks
