Job Summary
As our highly skilled and compassionate Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopedic Total Joint Surgeon you will join our newly established orthopedic practice in the TN / GA market at CommonSpirit Memorial Hospital. You will deliver comprehensive orthopedic care with a specialized focus on total joint procedures diagnosing treating and managing musculoskeletal conditions for diverse patient needs. As part of CommonSpirit Memorial a faith-based not-for-profit organization and proud member of CommonSpirit Health you will be integral to a continuum of care that includes specialized services in orthopedics and rehabilitation reflecting our unwavering commitment to excellence. Your schedule will include participation in a 1-in-7 call rotation ensuring balanced coverage and support.
To be successful in this role you will be a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopedic Total Joint Surgeon with a strong commitment to clinical superiority and patient-centered care.
- Performing advanced surgical procedures with expertise in a wide range of orthopedic surgeries specifically specializing in shoulder and other total joint cases.
- Diagnosing treating and managing a comprehensive array of musculoskeletal conditions with a focus on total joint replacement and reconstruction.
- Ensuring patient-centered care through empathetic communication clear treatment explanations and prioritizing patient safety and satisfaction.
- Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams referring physicians and rehabilitation specialists to ensure seamless and integrated care pathways for total joint patients.
- Maintaining clinical excellence by adhering to best practices robustly participating in the 1-in-7 call rotation and upholding accurate medical documentation.
- Committing to professional growth through active engagement in ongoing medical education quality initiatives and professional development related to total joint surgery.
- Contributing to a collegial work environment and upholding the mission and values of CommonSpirit Memorial.
- Leveraging cutting-edge technology and a robust referral network within our newly established practice for total joint care.

Required
- MD / DO from an accredited institution
- Board Certified or Board-Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted medical licenses in Tennessee and Georgia
- AHA BLS
Preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 years of post-residency experience preferred but exceptional new graduates will be considered
