About the Role We are seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist for an inpatient and outpatient contract opportunity in Grants NM. The OT will assess patient needs develop individualized treatment plans and help patients improve independence in daily living and functional activities.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients physical emotional and cognitive abilities
Create and implement individualized treatment plans
Support ADL mobility and functional skills training
Recommend and train patients on adaptive equipment
Educate patients families and caregivers
Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner
Collaborate with physicians nurses and therapy teams
Requirements
Active New Mexico Occupational Therapy License required
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program
NBCOT/OTR certification required
BLS/CPR certification required
Completion of Level I and Level II supervised fieldwork
Experience with ADLs mobility training lifts splints and adaptive devices preferred
Strong communication documentation and patient care skills
