Will you help us design the next generation of revolutionary Apple products The Camera Semiconductor Technologies group is responsible for all research design development test and qualification of core technologies that enables revolutionary features on Apple products such as FaceID and LiDAR an Optoelectronic Test Development Engineer you will be responsible for developing and integrating test hardware intended for a mass production environment. You will craft and develop solutions for calibrating characterizing and testing semiconductor photonic devices for Apple products. You will work on test algorithm and hardware development during the engineering stage with support from the SW/HW cross-functional teams.
Developing industry-leading calibration and metrology methodologynDevelop / validate algorithms for test metrology which are deployed on MP test stationsnCollaboration with tester hardware suppliers to develop a validated test solutionnConduct failure analysis to understand the root cause of tester malfunction or inaccuracynProvide written documentation of tool specifications and failure analysisnClose collaboration with characterization labsnClose collaboration with cross-functional teams including process engineering optical engineering mechanical engineering and electrical engineering to deliver innovative solutions
BS degreenExperience working in semiconductor electro-optical test or related fieldnExperience managing external suppliers to deliver hardware solutions
MS or PhD degreen10 years of experience working with semiconductor optoelectronic test (i.e. lasers image sensors displays LEDs)nDemonstrated capability to work with international teams and lead global suppliers nExcellent verbal and written communication skills nSome knowledge and understanding of computer vision techniques (i.e. image processing)nExperience with high level scientific computing languages like MATLAB or PythonnHands-on experience with lab instrumentation and bench-level components including lens components SMUs spectrometers colorimeters metrology camerasnWork experience in a wafer fab environment
