In this critical highly visible role you will have the opportunity to craft the next generation of optical sensing modules for Apples entire product line. You will manage projects involving the design integration and launch of innovative optical sensing technologies for world-renowned Apple products. The optical sensing team features a collaborative environment with creative smart people and cutting edge technologies. engineering excellence is expected. You will lead a highly cross functional team to navigate through uncertainties be adapt to rapid changing scenarios and lead complex decisions with the final goal to deliver the best technology into the hands of millions of people!

Define and drive execution of build plans for multiple module integrators and component as the primary lead during module development and advocate for the best module performance throughout the organization. nnResponsible for driving optical sensing modules on schedule. Constantly engage in pro-active risk management and communicating status and issues to the development team and Apple executives. nnFocus the efforts of the hardware software mechanical engineering and operations teams bringing their expertise together to design manufacture and integrate camera and laser modules for Apples entire product line.

BS in STEM field (e.g. EE ME Physics etc.) and 3 years relevant experiencenProduct development engineering or program management experience shipping consumer electronic systems semiconductor or other electronic hardwarenCuriosity about and familiarity with AI toolswith interest to apply them to improve engineering and program workflowsnAbility and willingness to travel internationally (typically once per year; accommodations available as needed)

Relevant industry experience designing optical sensing hardware or project management relevant experience in a similar of optical module design and engineering degreenExcellent communication organizational and leadership skills nConfident in delivering technical data with ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audiencenIn-depth technical engineering knowledge to effectively establish and manage project and operational KPIs assess and drive technical risks and critically challenge engineering ability to effectively manage multiple global contract manufacturers and vendors. nUnderstands and deals well with rapid development cycles; remains flexible and calm in the face of uncertaintynSelf-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilitiesnYou should be able to fit in well with a team understand capabilities and priorities while cultivating a team environment.
