Bulk Material Handler

Position Summary

Kemira is seeking a dependable safety-focused Bulk Material Handler to support manufacturing operations by moving storing and supplying bulk raw materials and finished products throughout the facility. This role is responsible for operating material handling equipment including a semi with tankersmaintaining inventory accuracy supporting production schedules and coordinating deliveries with third-party carriers.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all safety environmental quality and operating procedures.

• Load and unload trucks railcars storage tanks and trailers.

• Safely transport raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.

• Move and stage trailers within the plant using asemi truck.

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipmentas needed.

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely material availability for production.

• Coordinate shipment schedules with third-party carriers.

• Perform inventory billingand material transactions accurately.

• Support inventory counts audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.

• Call-outs (overtime) on weekends are a regular occurrence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.

• Basic computer and math skills.

• CDL preferred but not required.

• Manufacturing warehouse logistics or material handling experience preferred.

• Forklift certification or experience preferred.

• Strong attention to detail organizational skills and commitment to safety.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

• Ability to stand walk bend climb and perform physical work throughout the shift.

• Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment and wear required PPE.

Salary ranges may vary depending on location and local market conditions. The actual starting salary will be determined by various factors including but not limited to relevant work experience skills and competencies qualifications and wider business and organizational needs.
