Operator Production

Objective of the role: Operation and monitoring of production processes for the manufacture of assemblies or finished products that meet specifications.

Detailed tasks of the role:

• Start-up during order changes in accordance with the relevant specifications including ensuring line clearance and checking test stations with validation parts/challenge parts.
• Loading production equipment with individual parts and changing bins and trays according to specifications.
• Taking sample lots and visually inspecting parts according to specifications.
• Properly entering equipment status at the production terminals according to specifications.
• Independently carrying out changeover procedures on production equipment when switching variants in accordance with instructions from supervisors and operational requirements.
• Carrying out production documentation according to instructions and specifications including documenting lot changes obtaining release approval entering quantities in the MES and documenting validations and revisions.
• Cleaning activities within the work area including the machine handling equipment other equipment and the surrounding area.
• Handling defective parts on the machines according to instructions from supervisors.
• Continuous improvement in the production process.
• Supporting ongoing production according to specifications and instructions.

Qualifications :

Required education / qualifications and professional experience:

• Knowledge acquired through at least a 2-year apprenticeship e.g. as a machine and equipment operator or equivalent or knowledge gained through many years of professional experience / a multi-week induction period.
