Operator II, Warehouse & Distribution Operations

As an Operator II supporting our distribution center you will be trusted with warehouse shipping & receiving gathering verifying and packing items for shipment according to specifications and the applicable transportation method recording received and shipped items at the Johns Creek Distribution in Johns Creek Georgia.

In this role a typical day will include:

• Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and / or receiving duties which may require the use of a hand truck and other devices as well as computers to maintain data.
• Receives incoming materials or prepares material for shipment.
• Verifies quantity weight and conformance of materials prepares records of materials shipped.
• Routes materials to destinations.
• May lay out fabricate and assemble nonstandard crates and boxes.
• Rotate on a monthly basis to areas withing the department.
• Able to lead a small group of individuals.
• Good communication skills email-face to face-work direction-training

WHAT YOULL BRING TO ALCON:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• The ability to fluently read write understand and communicate in English
• Work hours: 40 hours per week: 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday: 3:00PM EST 11:30PMEST (some weekends required)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Basic Computer Experience
• Prior Leadership Experience
• RF Scanner Experience
