Job Summary
The Operator II is responsible for producing high-quality cardiovascular medical devices within a manufacturing cell. The position involves precision assembly operation of manufacturing equipment inspection testing packaging and maintaining accurate production and quality documentation in accordance with established procedures.
The role may involve working in a controlled cleanroom environment and requires strong attention to detail manual dexterity and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble medical devices and related components according to documented procedures.
  • Perform electronic mechanical casting coating and packaging operations as assigned.
  • Operate various manufacturing equipment and machinery.
  • Use microscopes hand tools syringes razor blades soldering equipment and adhesive-bonding materials as required.
  • Clean tools and equipment according to established procedures.
  • Perform visual inspections and precision measurements of components and assemblies.
  • Conduct product testing using computerized test equipment.
  • Repair and correct devices or components using microscopes and appropriate tools.
  • Package completed devices and verify that all components and documentation are accurate and complete.
  • Maintain accurate travelers shop-floor paperwork quality records and traceability documentation.
  • Follow all applicable safety procedures and properly use required safety equipment.
  • Dispose of hazardous waste materials in designated areas according to procedures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to improve production processes quality and productivity.
  • Notify supervisors or leads when supplies need replenishment or production issues require assistance.
  • Support manufacturing supervisors/managers in achieving individual and production-cell performance goals.
  • Maintain a clean sanitary and organized work environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 years of relevant manufacturing or production experience.
  • Ability to read comprehend and follow written English procedures at approximately a 6th-grade level.
  • Basic mathematics skills at approximately a 6th-grade level.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and follow verbal instructions.
  • Basic understanding of electronic data collection systems and computer software.
  • Good manual dexterity and ability to handle small components and parts.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precision work.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on sequencing timing and importance.
  • Ability to make routine decisions and judgments with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to follow quality safety and manufacturing procedures consistently.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Work Environment
  • This position may require working in a controlled cleanroom environment and performing repetitive precision-manufacturing activities. Candidates must be comfortable working with small components manufacturing equipment and applicable safety materials while maintaining strict quality and documentation standards.
