About the Opportunity

At MD&A we believe the best improvements come from people who ask questions challenge assumptions and look for better ways to work. We are seeking a curious creative and customer-focused intern to help improve the tools processes and information that support our Outage Services Division.

This is not a traditional internship. You wont just complete assigned tasks. Youll work alongside operations field personnel and business leaders to identify challenges develop solutions and implement improvements that have a real impact on the business.

What Youll Do

• Improve and modernize training programs procedures and knowledge resources.
• Build Power Apps Power Automate workflows and other digital solutions that reduce manual work and improve efficiency.
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop creative ways to communicate data and operational information to technicians project managers and leadership.
• Create user-friendly training materials and support the adoption of new technologies.
• Explore AI automation and emerging technologies to solve business challenges.
• Collaborate with employees across multiple departments to understand needs and develop practical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Engineering Information Systems Business Analytics Computer Science Industrial Technology or a related field.
• Experience with Excel Power Apps Power Automate reporting tools or data analysis is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them to solve business challenges.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Residing in the San Antonio area.

Compensation

• $21 per hour
• 20-30 hours per week
• Potential to continue through 2027
• May qualify for academic credit
