What youll be doing...

As an Executive Operations Support and Chief of Staff Senior Manager you will be a key strategic partner to the VP of Operations Technical Sales V2B and Broadband within Verizon Business Group. You will provide essential support to senior leadership and collaborate daily with cross-functional teams to align organizational initiatives actions and resources with our business objectives.

This role requires a deep understanding of business needs and the ability to track progress identify challenges and develop innovative solutions. You will also provide executive-level communications support ensuring clear and effective messaging.

Core Responsibilities:

• Strategic Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to the VP providing insights and recommendations on critical business matters.
• Initiative Management: Oversee key initiatives ensuring alignment with strategic goals tracking progress and proactively addressing obstacles.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the organization to coordinate efforts track deliverables optimize resource allocation and drive results.
• Content: Manage and create executive and operational presentations for the VP.
• Executive Communications: Develop and deliver executive-level communications that are clear compelling and aligned with business objectives.
• Deliverables Tracking: Create and manage all executive deliverables and keep owners up to date on their status.
• Reporting and Results: evaluate and analyze data to help the business deliver on priorities through insights and actions.
• Problem Solving: Identify and analyze complex business challenges propose innovative solutions and drive their implementation.
• Culture & Engagement Recognition driving initiatives programs and communications.

You are a highly adaptable self-starter with a proven ability to manage shifting priorities effectively. You excel at balancing stakeholder needs with departmental goals demonstrating a strong commitment to seeing projects through from conception to completion. With a keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain focus on the bigger picture you consistently deliver results within established timelines. You thrive in collaborative environments building strong relationships with colleagues at all levels. Experience handling confidential information and forward-looking data is essential.

Youll need to have:

• Bachelor degree or four or more years of experience
• Six or more years of leadership experience in operations communications project management or customer service
• Effective communication (verbal/written) skills; to include extensive experience producing and delivering presentations to all levels of management across the organization
• Proven ability to create short and long term strategies
• Strategic and analytical thinker who can analyze data to make appropriate process/business decisions/recommendations and shape business strategy
• Demonstrated team player and leader who can effectively handle multiple priorities simultaneously

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Degree in Business Marketing or Project Management
• Electronic presentation communication and leadership skills
• Project management experience
• Exceptional PC skills with Google docs Advanced PowerPoint and Excel Word Access
• Prior experience in reporting & analytics or operational role
• Strong understanding of analytics with exceptional presentation and organizational skills
• Results oriented strong sense of urgency proactive and flexible
• Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Experience leading cross functional teams and maintaining accountability for major business initiatives

In this hybrid role youll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

The annual salary range for the Illinois location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $108000.00 - $188000.00.
