Operations Reliability & Process Engineer, ConvertingExtrusion

Youll connect people process and technology to expand process capability and production volumewithout compromising safety or standards.

• Stabilize top-loss assets and deliver measurable OEE gains.
• Institutionalize SOPs PFMEAs and capability documentation for priority lines.
• Implement targeted pokayoke and preventive tasks that cut repeat defects and unplanned downtime.
• Deliver at least two cost-saving improvements from concept to implementation with verified results.

• Safety leadership: maintain a clean and safe work area practice 5S daily and communicate openly with Operations and Maintenance.
• Food and consumer safety: participate in GMP/food-safety training and escalate concerns immediately.
• Process optimization: design install configure and maintain systems to reduce cost and improve reliability.
• Reliability engineering: strengthen preventive and predictive maintenance approaches in partnership with Maintenance.
• Documentation: create/maintain process flow diagrams PFMEAs SOPs and line capability/performance records.
• Error proofing: develop and sustain methodologies that prevent errors and streamline checks.
• Engineering changes: support cost estimate and document changes; guide cross-functional implementation.
• Quality assurance: initiate actions to prevent product process and system nonconformances.
• Problem solving: contribute technical inputs to incident investigations root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Team support: provide guidance to the maintenance team on assigned tasks and projects.
• Policy execution: implement company policies procedures and practices; take on additional duties as assigned.

• BS in Mechanical Industrial Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 510 years in manufacturing preferred; 5 years of blown film extrusion experience highly preferred.
• Strong mechanical electrical and process engineering skills.
• Proven Lean manufacturing leadership (Kaizen/SMED/standard work) and sustainment.
• Analytical disciplined and detail-oriented; adept with structured problem-solving tools.
• Excellent communication; able to partner broadly see the big picture and lead through change.
• Advanced computer skills with MS Office (Excel Access etc.) and related tools.
• Experience within Food and Beverage Manufacturing environments.
