Job Summary
The Mac Operations Program Specialist (OPS) plays a key role in launching Apples new products on time with superior product quality and maximum customer availability. You will be a key facilitator who defines and drives material strategy to enable manufacturing line bring-up collaborates with engineering to define the final bill of materials and helps ensure a successful product launch with all lines brought up on schedule and within role is well-suited for someone who is self-directed thinks beyond the immediate task and brings a systems-level perspective to operational challenges. We are looking for someone who can execute with precision on day-to-day deliverables while also demonstrating the strategic instincts and cross-functional leadership presence needed to grow within Product Operations. n
Lead Apple and OEM operations teams in executing operations builds and line bring-up material strategynTrack build readiness and risks; partner with Procurement and Engineering on material down-selections technical risks and production risksnOwn communications across cross-functional teams resolve issues proactively and communicate current status clearly and consistentlynInfluence product cost and margin through material usage optimization projectsnCommunicate system requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with cross-functional teamsnNPI owner for ordering tracking and actualizing material to support development builds and product ramp; drive on-time delivery through Apple Procurement and direct supplier engagementnCross-functional owner for BOM tracking and readinessnCreate purchase orders maintain invoice tracking and manage goods receiptsnIdentify opportunities to streamline and automate operational workflows; build or contribute to tools that reduce manual effort and improve data visibility across the teamnAssess analyze and consolidate cross-functional data into concise actionable briefings for management and executive audiencesnTravel internationally 5-10%nn
3 years of industry experience in NPI Supply Chain Management or Manufacturing OperationsnBachelors degree required preferably in Supply Chain/Operations Engineering or a related technical discipline
Systems thinker: able to connect tactical execution to broader program and business outcomesnAbility to consolidate detailed cross-functional data into concise executive briefingsnStrong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to managementnData-driven decision-making; high attention to detail while managing multiple concurrent workstreamsnExperience with AI tools automation platforms or scripting to build solutions that optimize and automate operational workflows (e.g. Python SQL no-code/low-code tools LLM-based tooling)nExcel database and statistical software experience (SPSS SAS SQL etc.) a plusnAbility to build strong cross-functional relationships and influence without direct authoritynMasters or MBA a plusn
