About the Role A well-established HVAC company with two active divisions installation and service is looking for an Operations Manager to own the day-to-day running of their service division. Reporting directly to the owner youll be the person keeping technicians on track customers satisfied and the back office humming. This is a role with real upside for someone who shows up and owns it.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Billing

• Oversee service division operations end-to-end from scheduling through invoice close
• Ensure proposals go out within 24 hours and invoices are closed by end of day
• Collect payments on time and manage billing disputes within established guidelines

Technician Management

• Be present at 8am when technicians arrive to set the tone for the day
• Schedule technicians and keep them accountable to the days workload
• Support techs with common-sense job decisions and follow up on job notes after each call is completed
• Provide recognition incentives and hands-on problem-solving to keep the team running smoothly

Customer Service

• Handle calls from management companies and homeowners with patience and professionalism
• Serve as the steady reliable voice between field operations and the customer

Qualifications

• Strong people skills and emotional intelligence calm under pressure a genuine listener
• Able to manage technicians and customers without getting reactive or overly emotional
• Thinks like a business owner: proactive organized and focused on outcomes
• No HVAC technical knowledge required willingness to learn processes is what matters
• Must be available 8am5pm in-office Monday through Friday
