Job Summary

Position Summary The Garage General Manager is responsible for managing daily operations. The Manager must always aim to exceed the expectations of the client visitors and guests. The Manager must ensure that all team members are exceeding Manager will lead by example through the following ways:Provide tremendous support for VPNE teamCoaching with kindnessProfessionalism and IntegritySharp appearanceStrong organization and work ethicExcellent communicationAvailabilityTeam LeadershipCollaboration with client(s)Responsibilities Essential Functions may include but are not limited to:Garage Operations Culture of SafetyService Impressive team members and Proactive Ambassador operationAppearance of Team and Cleanliness of GarageExceptional Customer Service! We are All Ambassadors!Garage Staffing ScheduleManage Garage Staff Scheduling & Timesheets and position coverage daily and per weekManage and oversee events including ball games and onsite eventsOther projects and assignments as business dictatesStaff Management:Recruit train and supervise and support performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and a positive and collaborative work prompt investigation and resolution of complaints and incidents as relates to service delivery and in compliance with VPNE and clients policyPartner with Human Resources to ensure various policies procedures laws standards and government regulations are being correctly implementedGarage Revenue ControlEnsure proper revenue handling procedures (Office Safes Pay Station and Parking management system )Ensure proper Exception & Pulse Log proceduresPerform routine garage revenue / integrity audits including with appropriate revenue managerAdhering to VPNEs Revenue Controls PolicyParking Equipment and Facilities Problems or and observation troubleshooting and maintenance and reporting to Management and ClientPropose necessary upgraded and system enhancementsMaintain 5 year capital planning planManage repairs and work orders as necessary with onsite client contacts and or outside vendor to ensure full facility functionality is always at optimal levelsTimely reporting of problemsBudgets/ ReportingClient monthly reports & Client packagesDaily DCR & Deposit LogMonthly DCR reconciliationsMonthly Validations Report to Client- detailed logs for voucher distributions and ordersProduce annual budgets and adhering to budgetAd Hoc reportsClientUnderstand Clients Definition of Success deliver it and present it in very impressive mannerBuilding relationships with onsite client customers Vendors and overall hospital community we serve with the outmost professionalism and careTeam CultureLead a positive encouraging and supportive culture and work environment where people are clearly cared for and developed for growth opportunities within VPNEDevelop leadership skills to promote advancement opportunities for teams and overall success of the operations/ customers and clients alikeMajor Challenges:Problem-solvingDifficult customerConflicts among team membersPatienceQualifications Flexibility to manage and support events and special functions including Red Sox gamesAbility to organize and prioritize work.5 years of direct staff management experience service industry preferred5 years of revenue control experience with a retail bank cashiers & multiple points of serviceExperience with DataPark Parking SoftwareExperience with parking gate and loop systemsAbility to effectively communicate with client and VPNE managementBe able to drive operational marketing and financial strategies to ensure maximum service and profitabilityAbility to effectively communicate with a wide range of employees as well as motivate and provide constructive feedbackComputer literate including Word Excel and Outlook and ability to quickly learn new softwareCapable of handling a range of employee relations issues and follow progressive steps of disciplineFunction independently within company guidelinesMust be proactive customer focused and responsiveExcellent Driver with Active Drivers LicenseBachelors degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience in related field preferredCertification Registration or Licensure required by the JobValid Drivers LicenseBenefits:Paid weeklyMedical Dental Vision401K with company matchDiscount programsShort-term disabilityAccident insuranceLife insuranceVPNE is a family-owned fun and rapidly growing company headquartered in the Greater Boston Area.
