Role Summary
The Operations Manager will serve as the onsite operational lead for the Atlanta ATN Pilot Project overseeing day-to-day operational delivery from construction through pilot revenue service. The role will coordinate with contractors during construction lead field commissioning and testing activities and establish the operations team for pilot launch.
Required Skills / Certifications
- Strong background in field operations construction management or transit operations. Experience in rail BRT airport operations or complex transportation systems preferred.
- Must be a local Atlanta-area candidate and available onsite throughout construction testing and pilot phases.
- Experience managing operational KPIs and performance reporting.
- Experience managing hourly part-time or intern-level staff.
- Strong leadership communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience with commissioning field integration system troubleshooting and incident management preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with technical teams contractors and external stakeholders.
- PE or PMP certification highly desired.
- Experience in the Atlanta transit market or similar operating environments.
