As an Operations Engineering Co-op/Intern you will provide technical support primarily to plant operations groups from troubleshooting complex systems to optimizing production processes. Full time Co-Op/Internship. Typically 36-44 hours a week on site.

What will you do

Day to day work assignments assigned by the supervisor and could include:

• Identify and resolve root causes of issues in phosphoric acid processing and production systems.

• Evaluate and enhance the performance of unit operations in the Phosphoric Acid department.

• Observe work during a turnaround outage and participate in equipment inspections.

• Participate in the development and implementation of digital tools for operations.

• Perform duties as assigned.

• Communicate with various levels of personnel throughout the organization including management plant operators engineers (of various disciplines) maintenance automation lab personnel and contractors.

• Participation in department meetings and meetings specific to the project assignment.

• Adhering to Mosaics mission guiding principles and priorities and key competencies.

What do you need for this role

• Junior level or higher by January 2027 pursuing a bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering.

• 2.75 GPA or higher

• 1-2 years of experience volunteering working with student/school organizations or work is preferred.

• Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred.

• Reliable transportation and valid drivers license - You will need to be able to travel to and from sites and/or office.

• Ability to work full timeand be a student in standing at the time of the co-op/internship

• Selected candidates will be required to successfully complete thefollowing:Post-offer/pre-placementdrug and alcohol screening background check physical functional capacity examination.

• Basic computer skills are required.

• Experience working in a team environment is a must.

• Familiarity with an industrial environment is highly desirable.

• Effective verbal communication skills is a plus.

• Physical work environment is occasionally outdoors with exposure to varying degrees of hot and cold environments.
