Position Overview:
  • Seeking an experienced Risk Operations Consultant to support the day-to-day execution of an enterprise AI risk governance program.
  • This role sits at the center of a fast-moving cross-functional process and helps ensure AI use cases move through governance review accurately efficiently and on a timely basis.
  • The ideal consultant is highly organized detail-oriented and comfortable coordinating across multiple stakeholders and priorities.
  • This person will manage workflow and documentation coordinate governance meetings and follow-up communicate with business and risk partners and help ensure the governance process operates effectively.
  • Experience in AI governance is valuable but not required. Strong candidates may come from risk compliance governance program operations or similar roles in complex organizations.
  • Success in this Role:
    • This role is well suited for someone who enjoys bringing structure and discipline to complex processes.
    • The successful consultant will be proactive responsive comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and able to keep workflows moving without losing sight of details.
    • Do not need to be an AI technical expert.
    • Looking for someone with strong organizational and communication skills sound judgment and the ability to manage workflows with precision timeliness and ownership.
    • The successful consultant will be detail-oriented responsive and comfortable coordinating across a cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Governance Operations & Workflow: Coordinate the intake and progression of AI use cases through the risk review process including reviewing submissions for completeness maintaining work queues and status information routing requests tracking follow-ups and escalating issues when appropriate.
  • Meeting Coordination: Support governance forums by coordinating meetings preparing agendas and materials documenting decisions and action items and ensuring follow-up activities are completed.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as a central point of coordination for business requestors and members of the governance team. Provide clear and timely process communications and status updates.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate organized and audit-ready governance records procedures templates and supporting documentation. Prepare recurring status updates and operational reporting for the team and leadership.

Qualifications:
  • Approximately 3-6 years of relevant experience in governance operations risk or compliance operations program operations or a related field.
  • Experience supporting governance or risk assessment workflows or other cross-functional governance operations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to recognize when an issue requires escalation or a substantive risk or leadership decision.
  • Experience in financial services insurance or AI risk governance is a plus.
