Operations Analyst Internship Remote (Summer 2027)

PURPOSEGain industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and project assignments while supporting business process improvement initiatives within Installed Services. Work is performed under direct internship provides hands-on experience analyzing business operations evaluating service and warranty processes and supporting process standardization efforts across the organization. The intern will collaborate with field operations business leaders and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for operational improvement and help develop scalable solutions that enhance customer experience and business DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssist with various projects in support of the organize and analyze data to support operational reviews process improvement initiatives and special interviews and collaborate with field leaders technicians and business partners to understand current business processes and identify opportunities for and analyze current-state workflows procedures and system with the development of process maps workflow documentation presentations and project data analysis and reporting activities using Excel Power BI and other business in team meetings project reviews and brainstorming with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and findings recommendations and project updates to department leadership when RESPONSIBILITIESThis position has no supervisory REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability be actively pursuing a Bachelors GPA of 3.0 or junior or senior standing; other class levels will be majors include Business Operations Management Industrial Engineering Construction Management Supply Chain Data Analytics or related QUALIFICATIONSThe ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:Strong Excel and Power BI skills including data analysis reporting and dashboard interviewing and collaborating with field leaders and technicians to gather information and understand operational in Continuous Improvement and Lean principles with a passion for improving business to create process maps and workflow documentation using tools such as Visio Miro or similar communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate insights and about construction operations and a desire to learn how field execution impacts customer experience service quality and business oral written and interpersonal communication analytical critical thinking and problem-solving to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the engaging with and interviewing field personnel technicians and operational to work effectively with diverse teams and cross-functional in Microsoft Office applications particularly with Power BI or other reporting and visualization tools of process mapping and workflow documentation in Continuous Improvement Lean principles and operational organizational skills with attention to to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced initiative and a willingness to learn about construction operations and installed OPPORTUNITIESThrough this internship participants will gain exposure to:Construction and Installed Services operationsWarranty and service management processesBusiness process mapping and standardizationContinuous Improvement and Lean methodologiesData analysis reporting and dashboard developmentCross-functional project managementExecutive communication and presentationsOperational performance measurement and KPI developmentThis role is ideal for a student interested in combining data analytics process improvement field operations and business transformation to drive meaningful operational position was posted on 9/2/2026 and we anticipate it will be open for a minimum of five days though it may be open for a longer period.
