Operational Excellence Specialist

We are looking for an Operational Excellence Specialist to support the adoption and deployment of DNVs Operational Excellence (OEx) framework across our Digital and Data Solutions (DDS) business.

In this role you will work closely with leaders and teams across software development product management customer success and business operations to identify improvement opportunities facilitate structured problem-solving and help embed a culture of continuous improvement. You will play a key role in enabling teams to improve efficiency quality predictability and customer value delivery.

Working as part of the global Operational Excellence team you will partner with the Global Operational Excellence Manager and business leaders to support DDS in achieving its strategic ambitions through sustainable operational improvements and stronger ways of working.

What youll do

• Support the deployment adoption and sustainment of DNVs Operational Excellence framework across DDS.
• Partner with leaders and teams to identify prioritize and implement improvement opportunities.
• Facilitate structured problem-solving workshops and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Apply Operational Excellence tools and methodologies including Lean principles standard work visual management and root-cause analysis.
• Support improvement pilots and initiatives that drive efficiency quality scalability and customer value.
• Coach managers and teams in Operational Excellence practices and continuous improvement methods.
• Ensure local practices are aligned with global Operational Excellence standards governance and roadmaps.
• Track improvement activities share lessons learned and support benefit realization.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to improve processes and ways of working across DDS.
• Deliver Operational Excellence training sessions workshops and awareness activities.
• Escalate risks blockers and decisions needs in a structured and timely manner.
• Contribute to building a strong culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
• Occasional international travel may be required.

• Practical experience in Operational Excellence Lean Continuous Improvement Six Sigma Agile DevOps or related methodologies.
• Proven experience improving processes productivity efficiency or operational performance with measurable results.
• Experience facilitating workshops improvement initiatives or change activities involving cross-functional teams.
• Experience coaching or supporting teams and managers in adopting new ways of working.
• Experience working in digital software technology or other knowledge-based environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within structured governance frameworks standards or improvement programs.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills

What is preferred

• Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent.
• Experience in change management or organizational transformation.
• Experience from management consulting process improvement consulting or business transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices from a continuous improvement perspective.
• Experience from software development SaaS digital product organizations or technology companies.
