On-Call Banquet Server

• Set up banquet rooms tables chairs linens place settings and service stations according to event specifications.

• Provide prompt courteous and professional food and beverage service to guests.

• Serve plated meals buffets hors doeuvres beverages and other food items as assigned.

• Clear and reset tables throughout events while minimizing disruption to guests.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas service stations and equipment.

• Assist with banquet room breakdown and cleanup following events.

• Communicate effectively with the Banquet Manager kitchen staff and other team members.

• Respond to guest requests and questions in a professional and helpful manner.

• Follow all hotel standards food safety procedures and responsible alcohol-service policies.

• Handle china glassware silverware and banquet equipment carefully.

• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

• Minimum of 1 year of previous banquet catering restaurant hotel or food-service experience required.

• Previous hotel banquet experience is preferred.

• Strong customer-service and communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Ability to remain professional and composed in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Ability to lift carry and move banquet supplies and equipment as required.

• Must be available to work a flexible on-call schedule including evenings weekends and holidays as event schedules require.

• Must comply with all applicable food safety and alcohol-service requirements.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Ability to frequently bend reach push pull and lift.

• Ability to carry trays and banquet equipment safely.

• Ability to lift and carry items weighing approximately 2550 pounds as required.
