Offset 6 Color Operator

Set up and operate a 6-color offset press including make-ready press runs and wash-up.

Inspect incoming paper ink and other materials to ensure they meet specifications.

Perform press checks make adjustments and troubleshoot issues to maintain consistent quality.

Complete first-piece approvals and required production documentation.

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on press equipment.

Assist with feeder setup stock changes and other press support activities.

Maintain a clean safe and organized work area while following all safety and PPE requirements.

Communicate quality concerns and stop production when necessary to prevent defective products.

Work closely with team members to keep production running smoothly and meet quality and productivity goals.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong knowledge of offset press systems controls and terminology.

Ability to read and understand job tickets and manufacturing procedures.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to accurately enter production information into the companys system.

Commitment to safety housekeeping attendance and teamwork.

Preferred: 5 years of offset press experience.
