Offline Operator

Dura-Line is hiring for a Offline Operator in Elyria Ohio- Garden St

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm

There are multiple openings with this posting.

In this position as an Offline Operator you will be working in the Offline department. This is a key position in which you will be responsible for secondary function of product ensuring quality standards and supplying added value products to meet customer needs. The successful candidate will be a multi-tasker that can assist in meeting the customer demand while maintaining our high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and clean equipment and report defects.

• Operate hydraulic and electric reeler lift truck table saw rotor and band saw.

• Parallel or coil duct.

• May operate the large grinder or pelletizer.

• May operate the pallet jack to move material around.

• Inspect products for quality nonconformance.

• Assemble and or disassemble wooden and steel reels.

• Custom build reels.

• Process cable.

• Operate a sawzall to cut pipe from reels.

• Assist grinding crew with scrap pipe.
  

• Requirements:

• Prior forklift experience required

• At least 1 year of equipment or machine operation experience in manufacturing.

• Some experience in a fast-paced or high-speed environment standardized work safe work and continuous improvement.

• Ability to follow work instructions and perform basic math.

• Physical requirements: move around obstacles wear required PPE stand and walk for 8-12 hours work near hot machinery and climb reach squat and bend

Our Offer:
The compensation for this position is typically start at $18.50

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills experience geographical location and internal equity. The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
