Office Support Clerk
Job Summary
The Office Support Clerk will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the office. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player who can handle multiple tasks simultaneously manage confidential information and communicate effectively with staff and clients.
General Administration: Perform general clerical duties including photocopying faxing mailing and filing.
Communication: Answer and direct phone calls take messages and respond to inquiries via email and in person.
Data Entry & Management: Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems; update databases and spreadsheets as needed.
Office Maintenance: Monitor office supplies and inventory; coordinate with vendors for maintenance and repairs.
Scheduling: Assist in scheduling meetings appointments and travel arrangements for staff as requested.
Financial Support: Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks such as processing invoices expense reports and petty cash management.
Document Preparation: Draft format and proofread correspondence reports and presentations.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field is a plus.
Experience: Proven experience as an office clerk administrative assistant or in a similar role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint). Experience with Insert CRM or specific software e.g. QuickBooks/Salesforce is an asset.

Required Skills:
Proven experience in customer service client support or call center role (financial services or consulting experience is a plus). Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively. Professional and customer-focused attitude. Basic computer proficiency and comfort learning new systems. Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated quiet home office setup. Preferred Experience in a consulting professional services or B2B environment. Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot). Typing speed of 40 WPM or higher. Understanding of data privacy and the importance of handling sensitive information.
