JRIs Childrens Friend and Family Services is seeking a compassionate organized and dependable Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of our mental health facility. The Office Manager will help ensure that clients receive a welcoming respectful and efficient experience while supporting clinicians and administrative staff.
The ideal candidate is highly organized discreet comfortable working in a behavioral health setting and committed to maintaining a calm trauma-informed and client-centered environment. Our mission is to ensure they can access the vital services necessary for them to flourish at home in school and within their communities.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $19.00 to $33.00 per hour. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience education licensure certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.
âIn this position you will:
- Manage daily front-office operations and administrative workflows.
- Welcome clients families visitors and referral partners in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure timely documentation.
- Handle phone calls correspondence referrals and general inquiries.
- Verify insurance information and assist with billing authorizations and payment processes.
- Monitor office supplies equipment and facility needs.
- Coordinate communication among clients clinicians leadership and external providers.
- Support compliance with HIPAA privacy regulations facility policies and applicable state requirements.
- Prepare reports track office metrics and assist with administrative audits.
- Help develop and improve office procedures to enhance efficiency and client care.
- Respond appropriately to sensitive or urgent situations and follow established safety protocols.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
- Process and maintain all required State and Local Building Inspections.
- Support the office Admin Assistant in all office related tasks and systems.
- Safeguard the privacy and confidentiality of employee information in accordance with all relevant regulations.

Requirements:â
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Bachelors degree in human resources or related field preferred but not required.â
- 3 5 years prior human resource office management and/or administrative experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills using a variety of applications and programs along with the ability to quickly learn additional tools.
- Experience and comfort working in a health and human service environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid drivers license and the ability to travel between sites.
- Background and driving record checks will be performed.
