As the Office Lead for our regional headquarters in San Francisco you will oversee office operations to ensure we maintain Compass office standards and that employees customers and other guests enjoy their visit. You will plan coordinate and execute events that drive our customer engagement and retention goals. You are passionate about your customers experience both internal and external and can deliver a world-class office and event experience. You enjoy collaborating cross-functionally to solve problems effectively and efficiently.
At Compass You Will:
- Plan coordinate and execute events that drive our customer engagement and retention goals in collaboration with local leadership. Manage vendor and third-party relationships. Serve as the single point of contact for key speakers and executive visitors.
- Identify pitch and secure event sponsorships. Manage sponsor communications and financial transactions to ensure seamless compliant integration into the event budget.
- Serve as a culture carrier who inspires and empowers those around you with a positive constructive approach to creating and implementing change. Drive employee and customer recognition by helping to celebrate birthdays milestones etc.
- Procure and monitor office supplies food and beverage stock aligning resource availability with customer demands while executing effective cost-containment measures.
- Maintain facility standards security and aesthetics by conducting daily quality-assurance walkthroughs holding third-party vendors accountable for their scope of services and coordinating office repairs/services.
- Ensure cleanliness and overall organization across all office areas including reception conference rooms the kitchen storage and general common areas.
- Manage and execute the offices standard operating procedures and tracking processes (including budgeting Procurement Onboarding etc.).
- Manage internal communications including office updates and newsletters in collaboration with others.
- Partner with various members of the Workplace Operations team and other parts of Compass on special projects and initiatives.
- Periodically serve as the face of the office by welcoming guests managing mail distribution answering phone calls to our main office line and depositing commission checks when the Front Desk Coordinator is unavailable.
What Were Looking For:
- 2-4 years of previous experience in events customer service office management hospitality or operations
- Previous experience in real estate is a plus
- A passion for creating community within a space; you encourage in-office interaction bonding and engagement
- Great listening skills connects well with others and is empathetic to the customers pain points
- Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
- Meticulous attention to detail highly organized
- Ability to work in the office during standard operating hours
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- The ability to establish credibility with key agent decision-makers and influencers
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills allowing you to adapt and formulate solutions quickly
- Ability to work autonomously and possess a strong bias toward action
Compensation:Theexpectedbasepay for this position is $32-$34.25/hour. This range reflects our good-faith estimate of what we intend to offer for this role at the time of posting. Final offers within this range willdependon job-related factors such as experience skills and internal equity. Additional compensation elements such as bonuses commissions or equity grants may be available along with a full benefits program.
