DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:Assists Transportation Supervisor drivers and mechanic. Clerical duties to include data entry for STARS and other reports answering phones and radio traffic.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The list of essential functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary. Depending upon individual assignment the office aide will perform all or a combination of several of the following duties:
- Ability to maintain a student centered organized positive climate
- Ability to read write and communicate effectively
- Communicate and respond effectively and in a friendly professional manner with students parents community members and school personnel.
- Confidential with a thorough knowledge of the schools purpose functions and practices.
- Track bus ridership.
- Communicate with parents regarding student transportation.
- Assists in administrative details.
- Assist with record maintenance filing and office procedures.
- Provide first aid care.
- Ability to accept responsibility and take direction
- Work collaboratively and collegially.
- Comply with district rules and regulations.
- Conduct all work in a safe manner as specified by district rules.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Skilled at record keeping and computers.
- Payroll timesheets
- Possible student transportation
- Track accounts payable/accounts receivable and send to district office
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma
- Associate of Arts Degree or 2 years of college credits
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Skyward Student Information System
REPORTS TO:Transportation Supervisor

STATE/DISTRICT MANDATED REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid First Aid/CPR/AED card or ability to attain one
- Fingerprinting (paid by employee)
- I-9 Employment Eligibility in compliance with the Immigration Reform Act
- HIV/HBV Training (district provided)
- Sexual Harassment Training (district provided)

Salary- $22.00 - $25.21 per hour (DOE)
