About the Role:

We are seeking a self-motivated and hands-on Office & Accounting Administrator to support daily office operations and key accounting functions including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for an organized detail-oriented professional who enjoys taking ownership and working in a fast-paced environment.

Work Arrangement:
Temp-to-perm full-time on-site in Newark NJ

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) including invoicing collections payment tracking reconciliations and billing issues.
  • Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) ensuring timely invoice processing vendor payments and accurate records.
  • Manage daily office operations and maintain an organized efficient work environment.
  • Prepare reports presentations and internal documentation.
  • Coordinate shipments inventory tracking warehouse communications and logistics.
  • Monitor inventory levels and support planning with purchasing and warehouse teams.
  • Communicate with vendors customers and internal teams to support daily operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative and operational processes.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in office administration accounting support operations or a related role.
  • QuickBooks experience required.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting including AR and AP.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated hands-on and comfortable working independently.
