OCO Virtualization Product Manager

RSC2 is seeking a skilled OCO Virtualization Product Manager to join our growing team in Columbia MD! In this role you will get to define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for cyber mission systems with a focus on virtualization and containerization technologies in support of OCO.

Responsibilities:

• Provide thought leadership and work with key stakeholders to understand requirements build partnerships and provide technology solutions for virtualized and containerized environments.
• Lead Product backlog refinement ensuring features and capabilities for virtualization and containerization platforms are well defined prioritized and decomposed into actionable user stories.
• Collaborate with other Product Managers Release Train Engineers and Scrum Masters to drive Program Increment (PI) execution risk mitigation and cross-team collaboration for virtualization and containerization projects.
• Engage with Joint Cyber Weapons stakeholders USCYBERCOM NSA Services and CCMDs to gather feedback and align capability delivery for virtualized and containerized solutions.
• Participate in technical exchange meetings (TEMs) operational working groups and other OCO forums related to virtualization and containerization.
• Partner with clients to understand business objectives user behaviors and product vision develop product concepts roadmaps test plans and functional specifications for virtualized and containerized applications.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to conceptualize design and deliver multi-platform applications for virtualized and containerized environments.
• Lead engagements alongside company partners as well as the top designers and technologists in the industry

Requirements:

• Active TS SCI w/Polygraph - must be current
• Min 12 years with Bachelors 10 years with Masters or 16 years with HS Diploma or Associates Degree; significant portion of experience in virtualization and containerization technologies.
• Degree in Systems Engineering Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Science Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university. MBA or similar degree is a plus
• SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager or similar Agile certification(s) is desirable. VMware Certified Professional (VCP) Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or similar certifications are highly desirable.
• Experience working with government agencies or contractors in the intelligence or defense sectors is highly desirable.
• Deep knowledge of virtualization technologies such as vSphere and vCenter orchestration of virtual machine deployment and management. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Kubernetes and concepts of shared service meshes with services such as Keycloak MinIO and Vault
• Strong leadership communication and analytical skills along with experience with Agile methodologies and cloud services. Proven experience in building enterprise-grade products from concept to launch. Deep knowledge of virtualization technologies including various infrastructure platforms. Proficiency with agile tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Experience in the development of products and/or management in a development environment. They build and implement product strategies aligned with the OCO PMOs vision develop roadmaps and prioritize features for virtualization and containerization platforms.
• Facilitate interactions between all stakeholders and actively interacting. Good with documentation.
• Hands-on personality take ownership actively engage with the team constant engagement with key stakeholders. Understand team needs get them what their needs are. Senior Product Managers guide and mentor less experienced product managers collaborating to deliver products on time and within budget. They work with various stakeholders including clients senior management and other teams to gather feedback and shape product requirements.
• Comprehensive training on installing configuring and managing VMware vSphere.
• In-depth training on administering Kubernetes clusters including deployment scaling and management of containerized applications.
• Training on the messaging system for building scalable and resilient distributed systems.
• Training that demonstrates expertise in designing implementing and managing a best-in-class cybersecurity program.

Salary at RSC2 is determined by various factors including but not limited to location the particular combination of education knowledge skills competencies and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $107496 - $269129 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical total compensation range for this position.
