Job Description

Nature of Organization:

The occupational therapy department at UWMC provides occupational therapy services to patients throughout the medical center. Staff are dedicated to providing the highest quality patient-centered care.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The occupational therapy student assistant will help with daily operations of the inpatient occupational therapy department. Responsibilities will include but not limited to: Assisting with general inventory maintenance and cleaning of OT treatment areas assist the occupational therapist with handling patient equipment during 1:1 treatment session when appropriate assisting staff in department specific projects

Minimum Qualifications:

Good interpersonal skills and communication. Resourceful flexible and dependable Ability to work independently on projects after initial instruction
