Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide evaluation treatment and rehabilitation services to patients with physical developmental cognitive or functional limitations. The Occupational Therapist will develop individualized treatment plans and help patients improve their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients physical cognitive developmental and functional abilities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
  • Provide occupational therapy interventions to improve mobility coordination strength balance and daily living skills.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including dressing bathing grooming feeding and functional mobility.
  • Recommend adaptive equipment assistive devices and home modifications when appropriate.
  • Monitor and document patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate patients families and caregivers regarding therapy programs and home exercises.
  • Collaborate with physicians nurses physical therapists speech therapists case managers and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements.
  • Follow all applicable federal state facility and professional standards.
  • Participate in care planning and discharge planning.
Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice.
  • Eligible for or current NBCOT certification (OTR) as required by the state/employer.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification if required by the facility.
  • Strong clinical communication organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with patients of different ages and clinical conditions.
  • Previous healthcare or clinical experience preferred.
