As a OT - Hand Therapist Youll Achieve Success By:
- Reviewing patient medical history and developing individualized treatment plans
- Diagnosing patients by observing movements and listening to concerns
- Using exercises stretching equipment and manual therapy to manage pain and improve mobility
- Recording patient progress and modifying treatment plans as needed
Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist Requirements:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (or ability to obtain in the state of practice)
- Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
- Basic computer skills
- CPR and first aid certification required
Certified Hand Therapist (CHT)strongly preferredOR
CHT-eligible(minimum4000 hours of hand therapy experienceand3 years of practice)awaiting board examinationOR
Level II fieldwork in hand therapy withrelevant continuing education and12 years of outpatient hand therapy experienceas alicensed OT OR
- New grads with Level II fieldwork in hand therapy with a a strong clinical interest in upper extremity rehabilitation and a commitment to pursuing advanced training and certification in hand therapy
Compensation: $90K - $120K with an optional higher-caseload compensation model and additional compensation for eligible certifications. Benefits include generous paid time off medical dental vision disability and 401(K) with a 4% employer match.
