About the Role

Were looking for a creative confident Occupational Therapist who is passionate about making a meaningful difference for people living with neurological conditions.

Youll support clients living with conditions including:

  • Stroke
  • Spinal cord injury
  • Traumatic brain injury
  • Multiple sclerosis (MS)
  • Motor neurone disease (MND)
  • Parkinsons disease (PD)
  • Cerebral palsy
  • Intellectual disability
  • Other neurological conditions

What Youll Do

Youll have the opportunity to:

  • Deliver comprehensive OT assessments interventions education and reports
  • Prescribe and apply for assistive technology
  • Build expertise in home modifications
  • Support clients to achieve meaningful long-term goals
  • Collaborate with a close-knit multidisciplinary team
  • Think creatively and tailor therapy to each client
  • Mentor and supervise junior clinicians

Skills And Experiences

Requirements

  • Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • 3years of Occupational Therapy experience
  • Experience working within an NDIS framework
  • Successful candidates are required to undertake a Police Check Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screen.
  • Drivers Licence
  • COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination

Desirable

  • Familiarity knowledge and understanding of prescribing a range of assistive technology
  • Understanding and awareness of supporting neurodivergence and family centred practice
