Location: Watertown New York
Pay Rate: $64/hr to $67/hr
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 12-hour nights 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Experience: 2 years of CT Technologist experience required

About the Role

Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown New York is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in the Radiology CT department. This role is ideal for a skilled imaging professional with strong CT experience radiologic technology training and the ability to work independently during night shifts in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures according to provider orders department protocols and safety standards.
• Prepare and position patients accurately for diagnostic imaging exams.
• Operate CT equipment while ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.
• Apply knowledge of anatomy physiology and medical terminology during imaging procedures.
• Review images for quality and completeness before submission to radiologists.
• Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records in Epic.
• Follow radiation safety infection control and patient identification protocols.
• Collaborate with radiologists nurses providers and other clinical team members.
• Maintain required state licenses ARRT registration and compliance documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required.
• At least 1 year of radiologic/imaging experience required.
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology required.
• ARRT registration required.
• Active New York State license required at time of submission.
• BLS certification required.
• Prior radiology experience and CT-specific training preferred.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.
• Must be available for 12-hour night shifts.
• Travel candidates only.
• 100-mile radius rule applies.
• No on-call requirement.
• RTO must be included at time of submission.
