Job Summary
Modesto City Schools is a Pre-K through 12th grade district serving approximately 30000 students. The District is one of the largest employers in Stanislaus County with over 3200 employees. It is divided into three divisions: Business Services Educational Services and Human Resources. An Associate Superintendent oversees each division and a variety of programs such as Early Childhood Education Child Welfare & Attendance Special Education Nutrition Services and City Schools also offers an Induction Program with a state approved curriculum by which new teachers attain their Professional Clear Credential. A High School Diploma General Education Development (GED) Certificate or California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) Certificate is required; Sufficient physical ability strength mobility and stamina to lift 35 pounds and to push or pull up to 75 pounds on a rolling rack or cart.
