Overview:

Sentara BelleHarbour ER is hiring a Supervisor Nursing and Patient Care services to join our team! This is a full time Night shift role in Suffolk VA.

Hours/Days:

4 Nights a Week - Monday - Thursday.

No weekends or Holidays. Some administrator on call duties.

Hours - 9pm - 7am

Areas this role will support:

The Supervisor Nursing and Patient Care Services RN will support our freestanding ER at BelleHarbour. This position will serve as a resource to the departments and will assist with performing unit audits and real-time coaching of team members during the overnight hours.

The Supervisor Nursing and Patient Care Services is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the healthcare facility during their shift ensuring high-quality patient care safety and staff efficiency. This position serves as the primary liaison between departments providing leadership direction and support to nursing staff physicians and other healthcare providers. The Supervisor is also tasked with coordinating patient flow managing staffing levels responding to emergencies and addressing any operational issues that may arise throughout their shift.

Education

• Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN (required)
• MSN (Preferred)

Certification/Licensure

• Registered nursing License (Required)
• BLS required within 90 days of hire
• Professional Specialty Nursing Certification preferred.

Experience

• 1 year of previous management experience OR 2 years experience in a support leadership RN position (Required)
• 3 years of nursing experience (Required)
• 5 years of nursing experience (preferred)
• Emergency Department experience highly prefered
• Staff development and retention
• Quality outcomes and patient experience

We provide market-competitive compensation packages inclusive of base pay incentives and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $104416.00 - $154356.80 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials standby/on-call pay overtime shift premiums extra-shift incentives or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications experience location market conditions and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted it is based on a full-time colleague working 2080 hours annually.
