As an RN Education Program Manager you will be a vital contributor to the planning coordination and delivery of essential healthcare-related educational and training programs.
Every day you will actively assist in scheduling and conducting diverse healthcare training programs. You will also provide direct coordination and/or instruction in various educational initiatives ensuring effective learning experiences for all participants.
To be successful in this role you will combine strong organizational and presentation skills with a deep understanding of healthcare education a passion for teaching and the ability to effectively engage and train diverse groups of healthcare professionals and staff.
- Collaborates with learners in the identification and development of initial and on-going education needs
- Creates and documents plans in partnership with leadership teams to meet strategic and operational initiatives of the organization
- Authors curriculum and implements educational in-services classes courses and programs based upon identified education needs and utilizing traditional non-traditional and innovative methods of instruction including the use of technology and/or simulation
- Submits documentation in support of education to include rosters course evaluation documents and competency validation tools.
- Conducts structure process and outcomes evaluation of programs
- Integrates outcome evaluation with regulatory and/or organizational needs assessment data and trends to determine program effectiveness.
- Bachelors Other and 5 years clinical practice in area of specialty
- Registered Nurse: AZ
Preferred
- Specialty certification or 2 years teaching
- Masters Degree
