How youll contribute
A Nurse Technicianwho excels in this role:
Provides essential support to nursing staff by performing basic patient care duties assisting with daily living activities and ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients.
Provide general nursing care such as patient positioning lifting turning and use of assistive equipment.
Assist with toileting using bedpans urinals commodes or ambulation.
Take and document vital signs including temperature pulse respiration weight height and blood pressure as well as intake and output measurements.
Assist in patient admission transfer and discharge including handling personal belongings.
Maintain a clean and comfortable patient environment.
Respond promptly to patient call lights telephone and paging systems.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

What were looking for
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Minimum Work Experience: Minimum six months of experience in an acute or long-term care facility.
Required Skills: Effective communication and teamwork skills. Ability to prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced care setting.
