We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our overnight Skilled Nursing team.
Shift Hours: 11:00 p.m. 7:00 a.m.
Schedule:
- WednesdayFriday
- Every other Monday
- Every other weekend
This position is located on our Skilled Care unit.
In this role you will provide overnight clinical oversight support care staff monitor resident well-being and help ensure residents feel safe comfortable and well cared for throughout the night. This position offers the opportunity to work independently while remaining part of a collaborative and supportive nursing team.
- Provide nursing care and clinical oversight during overnight hours
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and respond appropriately
- Document care accurately and communicate updates to incoming shifts
- Respond to resident needs incidents and emergencies
- Collaborate with Med Techs CNAs and interdisciplinary team members
- Support infection prevention and safety standards
- Help maintain a calm comfortable environment for residents overnight
- Current North Carolina RN or LPN license
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
