- Certifications: BLS Tier 1 Basic Life Support required within 180 days; Certification as Physician Assistant (NCCPA) or Certified Nurse Practitioner (ANCC) required upon hire
- Experience: Minimum 1 year experience; 1 year OR experience required; prior orthopedic/sports medicine experience preferred
- Other Qualifications: CSR (Controlled Substance Registration) required
- Provide orthopedic surgical assistance in the OR including first assist for total joint replacements fracture repairs and various orthopedic surgeries.
- Manage clinic patient visits seeing 20-25 patients per day for orthopedic consultations and follow-ups.
- Perform casting splinting DME application and joint injections as needed.
- Conduct rounding on patients in the mornings and occasional weekends.
- Administer and coordinate care in collaboration with attending physicians and support staff.
