As aNurse Extern you willbe responsible forthe following:

• Performs specific tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse.

• Demonstrates accountability for assigned patients on shift or assignment.

• Seeks out learning opportunities and guidance fromappropriate individuals.
  

Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager or aRegistered Nurse theNurse Externwill carry out routine patient care assignments work in controlled care situations and perform established nursing procedures for individuals or groups of patients.

Qualifications include:

Must be able to work full time hours.

Start Date: June 1 2026

Duration: 8 weeks

NURSING STUDENTS WHO GRADUATE IN DECEMBER 2026 OR MAY 2027 WILL BE ACCEPTED INTO THIS PROGRAM

1.Education & Training:Student currently enrolled in an accredited college of nursing. You will be required to provide transcripts.

2.Experience & Training:Successful completion of Fundamentals in Nursing completion of at least one medical surgical clinical rotation and clinical skills lab from an accredited professional nursing program.

3.License Certification & Registration:Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association.

4.Other Requirements:Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
