Guru Consulting Services LLC is seeking an experienced Nuclear Command & Control (NC2) / Joint Staff Assessment Visit (JSAV) and Nuclear Procedures Inspection (NPI) Program Support Specialist to support a U.S. Department of Defense Joint Staff J36 Nuclear Operations Division requirement.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting U.S. military operations nuclear command and control operational assessments military exercise planning scenario development or related DoD programs. The professional will support the development and execution of scenario-based Nuclear Procedures Inspections (NPIs) and Joint Staff Assessment Visits (JSAVs) including assessment planning exercise package development real-time assessment support technical documentation role playing and coordination with Joint Staff stakeholders.
The position requires strong analytical writing communication organizational and operational planning skills along with the ability to work in a highly sensitive U.S. Government environment.
- Support the planning and execution of Nuclear Procedures Inspections (NPI) and Joint Staff Assessment Visits (JSAV).
- Develop scenario-based assessment materials aligned with Joint Staff objectives and applicable guidance.
- Develop scenario backgrounds starting conditions timelines mission streams planning tasks and assessment events.
- Develop and maintain Candidate Scenario Briefing Packages Starter Packages Exercise Packages scripts message injects and supporting materials.
- Review applicable Joint Staff guidance intelligence products and operational information to support scenario development.
- Participate in scenario-development meetings and incorporate feedback from Joint Staff personnel and Government stakeholders.
- Support development and integration of conferencing scripts and assessment message traffic.
- Support Nuclear Planning and Execution System (NPES) inputs and related assessment activities when required.
- Provide real-time support during NPI/JSAV events including role playing simulation management and response to assessment Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Support Joint Staff evaluators with assessment observations briefing materials out-briefs and After-Action Reports.
- Support assessments at National Military Command System (NMCS) Combatant Command (CCMD) NMCC and other designated locations.
- Maintain accurate technical operational and project documentation.
- Coordinate with Joint Staff personnel Government stakeholders evaluators and technical teams.
- Support multiple assessment activities schedules deliverables and changing program priorities.
- Travel to Government and operational locations as required.
- Experience with U.S. Department of Defense or U.S. military operations.

- Bachelors degree in Military Studies National Security Intelligence Operations Information Systems Engineering Computer Science Business or a related field is preferred.
- Equivalent military or professional experience may be considered.
- Relevant military education operational planning training or DoD certifications are advantageous.
- 5 years of relevant experience in U.S. military DoD defense contracting operational planning command and control intelligence exercise planning assessment or related fields.
- Experience supporting military exercises inspections assessments or operational evaluations is strongly preferred.
- Experience developing scenarios exercise packages scripts message injects or assessment documentation is preferred.
- Experience supporting Joint Staff Combatant Commands NMCS NMCC NAOC or related organizations is an advantage.
- Experience working in classified DoD environments is strongly preferred.

- Ability to obtain/maintain applicable SCI eligibility and additional program-specific access requirements.
- Candidates must be able to satisfy applicable DoD personnel security and investigation requirements.
- Experience working with classified information and controlled Government systems is strongly preferred.
This position may require CONUS and OCONUS travel including Temporary Duty (TDY) assignments in support of NPI/JSAV activities.
The RFP anticipates contractor personnel supporting assessments at various Government and operational locations. Certain personnel may also be required to complete physiological training/assessment for military flight qualification to support NAOC and Looking Glass NPI activities.
