The basic functions of A/P Clerk will be as follows:(1) Process vendor invoices (2) Ensure timely payments to vendors (3) Maintain all facets of the accounts payable system including reconciling vendor accounts and month end reports.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
- Computer skills Advanced Excel PowerPoint and other Office products
- One year prior accounting experience
- Able to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime including weekends and holidays as business conditions warrant
- Two year Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance or working towards 4 year degree
- Proficient in MS Dynamics 365
- Kentucky and/or Georgia Sales & Use Tax Knowledge
