This recruitment will be used to fill multiple part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Undergraduate Research Assistant (URA) positions for the School of Nuclear Science & Engineering (NSE) at Oregon State University (OSU).

This position performs a variety of duties including routine to complex technical or specialized tasks in support of research clinical or administrative work. Positions may include laboratory research and data collection.

Position Duties

• Perform laboratory experiments tests or simulations under supervision.
• Set up calibrate and maintain research equipment; monitor supply inventory and assist with ordering materials as needed.
• Accurately document experimental results observations and measurements in lab notebooks or electronic databases; maintain organized records for reproducibility.
• Use software tools (e.g. MATLAB Python Excel) to analyze collected data generate graphs/charts and summarize findings for review by senior researchers.
• Follow all safety guidelines and institutional compliance standards; participate in safety training as required.
