Looking for a role where you can tailor instruction and help elementary students reach their goals Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a full-time Elementary Special Education Teacher to join a Michigan school district for the school year.
Youll create accessible learning experiences based on individual student needs provide specialized instruction and support academic behavioral and social development. Collaboration will be an important part of the role as you work alongside general education teachers specialists families and other members of the student support team.
The Special Education Teacher will develop and implement individualized IEPs provide targeted and small-group instruction and adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs. The role includes monitoring student progress supporting academic behavioral and social development promoting inclusive practices and collaborating with general education teachers families specialists and multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Strong communication organization and collaboration skills.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field
- Experience in resource inclusion or self-contained settings preferred.
- Valid Michigan teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement or eligibility to obtain.
