Step Into Your New Role

Kleinfelder is looking for a motivated North Carolina Program Lead to grow our Commercial and Industrial business. With increasing opportunities in the region and a variety of clients the ideal candidate will join our high achieving fast-paced team. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team are valued attributes for this position. The work Kleinfelder executes is multi-disciplinary in nature but experience in traditional industrial/commercial land development renewables utility infrastructure and/or aggregate mining is especially relevant.

This is a hybrid office role and can be based in:

  • Charlotte NC
  • Raleigh NC
  • Greensboro NC

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ability to target and generate new opportunities
  • Overseeing pursuits designate the appropriate resources to projects define client needs address client concerns and suggest solutions to solve project challenges
  • Nurturing and growing client relationships
  • Managing project execution including proposal development project organization subcontractor management scheduling financial management health and safety stewardship and delivery quality
  • Leading technical cost and scheduling decisions for interdisciplinary teams and driving customer value

Education/Certification:

  • Preferred Bachelor of Science Degreein Engineering or other technical degree
  • Preferred Professional Engineer (PE)

Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive client contacts and relationships with local architects developers land use attorneys planners and/or land owners
  • Experience in leading multi-disciplinary design permitting and construction as a consultant
  • Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
  • Understanding of financial management of projects
  • 12 years of related experience including 6 years of project management experience

Following an offer candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials a motor vehicle report (MVR) and a comprehensive background check.
