• Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times.

• Carefully unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler pallet jack or by hand and place products in designated customer storage areas.

• Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain required signatures.

• Handle collections and payments when applicable.

• Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance the customer experience.

• Perform all pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  

• Ability to lift carry push and pull 2080 lbs. of product repetitively throughout each shift.

• Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10 per shift).
  

• Register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse.*

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Valid U.S. drivers license issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required.

• No more than two traffic convictions within the past two years no DUI convictions within the past three years and no drivers license suspensions within the past three years.

• Must be able to pass a DOT physical.

• No commercial or professional driving experience required.

• One year of multi-stop delivery experience preferred or six months of local delivery and/or foodservice delivery experience preferred.

• Ability to operate a manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations.

• Hand cart delivery experience preferred.

• Must be able to read write and communicate effectively in English.

• Basic math skills.

• Must pass pre-employment testing including a background check.

• Knowledge of the local delivery area and map-reading skills preferred.

• Ability to use safe lifting and loading techniques.

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Availability to work weekends holidays and overtime as business needs require.

The expected base rate for this role is $24.13 per hour.
