NIGHT WAREHOUSE SPECIALIST II

Starting Pay: $22 to $28 per hourPosition SummaryThe Night Warehouse Specialist II is responsible for performing a combination of selecting loading product handling and warehouse equipment operations to support efficient distribution center operations. This role ensures outbound products are loaded accurately inspected for quality and properly staged or stored to maintain inventory integrity and compliance with company safety quality and operational standards. Responsibilities include loading outbound freight verifying product counts and condition and preparing inventory for storage and warehouse distribution activities. The Night Warehouse Specialist II also operates forklifts and other powered industrial equipment to move stage and store products safely and position provides cross-functional support across warehouse operations and may assist with additional operational tasks as needed to maintain workflow efficiency and support order fulfillment activities. The position may require certification to operate various Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and other warehouse Duties(Receiver / Additional Warehouse / Night Order Selector Hybrid Role)Receiving OperationsReceives outbound inventory and verifies product quantities condition and date codes to ensure accuracy and quality outbound freight and ensures products are properly recorded staged and stored in designated warehouse inventory data into warehouse systems including product counts and date code and reports receiving discrepancies such as damage shortages overages or items not listed on purchase with Purchasing and supervisors to resolve receiving issues and determine product with HACCP guidelines including incoming goods inspections and critical control point Equipment OperationsOperates forklifts and other powered industrial equipment to move stage and store product safely and and transports palletized inventory within warehouse storage areas according to operational pre-operation equipment inspections and follows all company safety procedures when operating warehouse awareness of warehouse traffic patterns and safety practices to ensure safe product Operations SupportAssists with warehouse organization to maintain efficient operational overall warehouse operations and performs additional duties as assigned by the Companys Mission/Vision Statements and Core Values as guiding Order SelectorIndependently pulls orders across all assigned zones using the voice system and a pallet jack or sit-down / high-reach forklift consistently meeting productivity and accuracy well-organized stable correctly sequenced damage-free pallets with minimal assembles and stages orders accurately to support timely final check and marks and labels materials and verifies that identifying information is correct and weighs or counts and verifies conformance catching discrepancies before they move inspects and ensures products selected are free from damage and infestation and escalates issues accurate storage and selection data for daily reports prepares and labels pallets for shipping accurately and applies safety food-handling and date-rotation procedures and models safe school diploma or GED or equivalent/related 2 two years of related experience in Warehouse Operations or an equivalent DemandsLifting up to 100 lbs. Frequent standing walking bending kneeling climbing and manual handling. Use of pallet jacks powered tools and warehouse equipment. High mobility and repetitive motion required. Exposure to loud noise temperature fluctuations and fast-paced environments. Requires visual auditory and manual dexterity.
